A “mini-grant facility” is made available for embassies in countries where development cooperation is being phased out.

The overall objective is to provide a flexible instrument, allowing embassies to respond promptly to opportunities, which can profile Denmark as a relevant partner by supporting small, clearly defined strategically important development initiatives in the host country.

The activities will be in accordance with the priorities in the strategy for Denmark’s development cooperation and humanitarian action “The World 2030”. However, all activities will have a focus on the promotion of economic development and welfare of the population of the host country.
